It was Monday, January 5, 2009, in the afternoon, Mom and I went to two places to pay my bills. There had been some ignorance during the two places I went.
The first place I paid my bill was at Mississippi Power. As I was standing in line, there were mostly black people standing in line, especially a black guy with a jericurl, dark shades and gold chain cross. While a blonde was passing through to the line where a white man was paying his electricity bill to the teller, the black guy pushed the little hispanic man to the other line. The white blonde became so upset that the black guy pushed the little man out of the line where he was standing and stand in front of her. As a light-skinned black woman, I decided to walk away from the ignorant dark-skinned black people line and stand behind the blond. After she made her check to pay her electricity bill, as well as waiting for the teller to collect bill money from the drive-thru, it was my turn to do the same with my cash payment. After I paid my electricity bill, a black man wanted to walk over to pay his bill, but the teller closed the window with the blinds.
The second place I paid my bill was at Cash King. I was again standing in line with a young black woman in front of me and an old black woman in front of her. The old woman was trying to ask the black girl at the teller to find her old receipt from her last payment. The black girl asked the black lady about the lost receipt. This has been going on for ten or fifteen minutes while the black girl was taking black woman's telephone bill in for her to pay for it. The two ladies were particularly counting money several times in front of the lady customer and the same to me. The old black woman told the two black girls behind the glass window to forget about it and left the building. After the black woman in front of me was finished paying her bill, I had to wait as the two black girls were still counting money at the cash register. One girl asked me that I was going to pay the whole bill, and I told them I want to pay the whole bill. She thought I was giving her less under seventy cents, but I told her I have two extra dollars and nine cents in order to receive thirty cents back in change. After I received my receipt with thirty cents in change, I put my receipt in the bill envelope and left for the long line to decrease.
I have the feeling that this year is going to be the worst year, just because we have a mulatto president in the United States and the black people are becoming more ignorant, violent, and careless. I wish they would act like white people, have more sense and stop being louses. If the black people keep acting the way they are just because the economy is bad, they may find themselves back in the 1950s.
